The moment has finally arrived when we travel half-way around the world to Aotearoa: The Land of the Long White Cloud!
I wrote this post on Sunday and set it to automatically publish while we fly to Los Angeles and await our international flight. There will be a 4 hour layover in Fiji - just long enough to tempt me out of the airport but just short enough that doing so is a terrible idea and therefore isn't going to happen. So, we'll stretch our legs and wait patiently to complete the journey to Christchurch, on the south island. By the time we land it will be Saturday, September 24th. We're just gonna completely miss Friday! That's what happens when you cross the international dateline.
My goal is to update the blog as we go but as in the past we may miss a day or two. I'll be posting pics to the Instagram and Twitter feeds too. If you don't do social media just scroll through the Twitter bar on the left side of the blog here - you won't miss out!
