We're in 2017 and so it feels like a good time to revisit the ole' travel wish list. There are still a lot of places waiting to be discovered but we've seen a lot of east/west coast cities since moving from Missouri!

We just bought plane tickets!!!
I really wanted to make London happen this spring but it was cheaper to fly to Amsterdam.

In other news, last month I took myself to the ballet and saw the American Ballet Theater perform Swan Lake at the Kennedy Center. I realized that this was my first real grown-up ballet other than Dracula back in 2010. I have to say, this is my new standard for ballet. People in the audience gasped in awe as Odette flung herself into the lake during the finale.
This last weekend we met up with some friends from college as they happened to be visiting DC. The sun made the newly-restored Capitol dome just shine and sparkle. It was fine weather for night stroll in DC.
